The Data

Our estimates are based on self-reported data from beta testers and public forums for competitor devices. The curve is exponential. Getting from 20 to 40 WPM is fast. Getting from 80 to 100 WPM takes months.

Why is Gloveboard faster to learn than CharaChorder?

CharaChorder requires simultaneous multi-directional inputs (3D spatial memory). Gloveboard uses binary flex inputs (is the finger bent or straight?). Binary chords map much closer to the mental model of playing a piano chord.
